Independent Republican for Reform
I am an Independent Republican and fiscal conservative
asking you to vote for me in the June 3 Republican Primary for
State Assembly because California needs reform.
Education Reform
California must provide quality education to our children.
Yet, money that should go to the classroom is being spent on bureaucracy and
waste. And too many disadvantaged children are trapped in underperforming
schools.
The solution is not more spending, but better spending -
education reform. But, Sacramento bureaucrats care more about themselves
than about our children, and stand in the way of reform. That's why Republicans,
Independents, and Democrats must join together
to Put Schools First.
Don't just complain about education, do something -
spread the word about education reform.
Healthcare Reform
Our healthcare system is broken. People need access to affordable quality
healthcare. Too many politicians are selling snake oil
- the idea that "Universal Healthcare" means "free healthcare". But nothing
in life is free, and "Universal Healthcare" can't cut costs without cutting benefits.
That's why we should focus on common sense reforms
for improving healthcare access, affordability, and quality.
Political Reform
Like so many of you, I am disappointed with our political establishment and elected
officials, and tired of politics as usual that is not getting the job done. But
politics as usual is not our only choice.
Help me reform California politics:
Budget Reform
Budgeting reform will protect taxpayers and help end the cycle of budget disasters
by ensuring that California provides for the bad times by putting aside money in
the good times, and lives within its means.
Redistricting Reform
Redistricting reform is necessary to help end the cycle of budget disasters by putting competition back into elections. If competition
is good for consumers, it is also good for voters.
You Can Help
We Can Make a Difference
Together, we can make a difference in protecting our schools and fixing our state’s
problems. But, agreement is not enough. You must take action.
